Nano Nagle was declared Venerable by Pope Francis in 2013. The next stage in the process for beatification is for Nano to be declared as Blessed. For beatification the Church requires one miracle.
When a person is declared Blessed, s/he is proposed to the local Church for veneration and imitation. In the process of verifying that a miracle has occurred, through the intercession of a Servant of God (for example Nano Nagle), the Church follows a very specific and detailed process. Learn more…

Updates from Congregational Postulator
Greetings once again from Rome. It’s been some time since I have been in touch with you all, so allow me to offer an update. Covid 19 impacted on all our lives. Oh, to be a tourist!

The life of a studentessa at the Pontifical Lateran University has come to an end. The happy news is that as of 7 July, having successfully finished all exams and l’esame finale, I am now officially recognised by the Dicastery of the Saints as Postulator for our Congregation.

Greetings once again from the desk of the Postulator.
Recently, I stumbled on the following text written by the late Paul Molinari SJ. He wrote, "the careful presentation of one who has lived a life so like our own and yet given to Christ, has proven time and again to be the trigger of new Faith and new Hope." Venerable Nano Nagle is a true example of such wholehearted response to her baptismal call through her daring faith and hope and her willingly risked all.
