Day 9 - Elimination of Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is all around us, in all regions of the world...in practices of forced labour, sexual servitude, recruitment of child soldiers and other forms of exploitation – UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres. 

Pope Francis describes human trafficking as Ugly, cruel and criminal...an aberrant plague and a modern form of slavery. He is asking for a global commitment to end the practice. (Rome 30 July, 2017).
